Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By using SSC, you agree to these terms and to the market rules shown before you place a bet. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility and risk
Prediction markets involve financial risk. You are responsible for understanding local laws, tax obligations, and the possibility of losing the full amount you bet.
3. Hybrid market model
In the MVP, deposits and approved withdrawals interact with the blockchain custody contract. Bets, internal balances, positions, ledger records, and market settlement are calculated by the backend database.
4. Wallet security
You are responsible for your wallet, private keys, signatures, and browser security. SSC will never ask for your seed phrase or private key.
5. Withdrawals
Withdrawals require the platform minimum threshold and admin review. Approved withdrawals are sent to the associated wallet through the chain-side flow.
6. Ownership and license
SSC or its licensors own the site, interface, features, related content, and technology unless otherwise stated. Subject to these terms, SSC grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable license to access and use the site and features only for their intended purpose.
You do not receive any ownership rights beyond the limited rights expressly described in these terms. Some third-party or open-source components may be governed by separate licenses, and you must comply with those applicable license terms.
7. User content and feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, messages, or other content to SSC, you grant SSC a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, support, and promote the platform.
You represent that you own your content or have the right to grant these permissions, and that your content does not infringe or misappropriate the rights of any third party.
8. Third-party services
The site or features may link to or integrate applications, services, data, technology, or resources provided by third parties. These links and integrations are provided for convenience only.
SSC does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, policies, availability, or any loss that may arise from your use of them. If you access a third-party service, you do so at your own risk and subject to that service's terms.
9. License scope and restrictions
The limited license granted to you exists only so you can access, use, and interact with SSC's site, interface, and features as intended. It does not permit copying the platform for a competing service, bypassing access controls, interfering with operations, misusing automated tools, or using SSC content in a way that violates these terms.
Features provided under separate open-source or third-party licenses remain subject to those separate license terms. If a separate license applies, you must review and comply with it before using that component.
10. Feedback and content permissions
When you provide feedback, ideas, reports, support messages, public comments, or other content, SSC may use them to operate the platform, improve features, address bugs, explain the service, and promote the platform. This permission lasts as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
You should not submit content that you do not have permission to share. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other third-party rights.
11. Third-party information and linked resources
SSC may rely on third-party data, technology, wallet tools, payment processors, analytics providers, infrastructure vendors, public blockchain networks, or linked resources to operate the service. Their availability, accuracy, security, and policies may differ from SSC's.
A link or integration does not mean SSC endorses the third party. SSC may remove or change links and integrations at any time when needed for safety, compliance, product quality, or operational reasons.
